The Midwest Center for Holocaust Education (MCHE), founded in 1993 by Holocaust survivors, teaches the history and lessons of the Holocaust to  people of all races and religious beliefs throughout the Midwest to prevent its recurrence and perpetuate understanding, compassion, and mutual respect for generations to come. Our programs, which serve primarily the Greater Kansas City area, include a volunteer speakers bureau, resource center, annual White Rose Student Essay Contest, teacher education, and Holocaust commemoration, as well as special lectures and exhibits. MCHE is a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City and a member of the Association of Holocaust Organizations.
