CAJE: The Jewish Educational Program arm of the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City Since 1966
______________________________________

The mission of CAJE is to assist every member of the community in becoming Jewishly literate and Jewishly identified.

Established in 1966 as the Jewish Education Council, CAJE initiates and offers a variety of educational opportunities and activities to encourage every member of the community to understand and participate in our unique heritage.

Education is a lifelong pursuit and CAJE assists institutions in the development of knowledgable and committed Jews. Our staff works hand in hand with the religious schools, congregations and agencies providing consultations, workshops, resources, observation/evaluation, personnel placement and many other activities and services.

CAJE is deeply committed to the process of Jewish Identity and Education. Our goal is the transformation of the entire community as we seek more ways to strengthen Jewish life in our community. Through collaboration, programs, and projects are determined that assist the congregations and agencies meeting the community's collective goals.
