To sustain and enhance Jewish Life at Home and Around the World.

Who We Are

JFED Young Adults, a program of Jewish Federation, provides a social outlet, leadership development initiatives, and volunteer opportunities for young adults seeking to build and sustain a vibrant Jewish Kansas City, while inspiring generosity for years to come.

We offer opportunities for networking, social action, leadership development, volunteer, travel, and philanthropy activities. By coming together with like-minded young adults you will:

  • Discover a place to grow personally and professionally
  • Continue the tradition of tzedakah—caring for the needy and worthy causes
  • Engage in Jewish learning
  • Create an opportunity to be a future leader within our community and internationally
Our Young Adults committee is the driving force behind young adult engagement in the Kansas City Jewish community. Serving as outreach strategists and community ambassadors, committee members are charged with the lofty task of developing and implementing the programs and processes that will attract and retain the next generation of young leaders. A very limited number of seats on the Young Adults committee become available every year. If you are interested in getting involved, or have ideas that you think could benefit our Jewish community, please contact Lisa Schifman, 913.327.8083.
