Become a Leadership Tomorrow Host Agency

Leadership Tomorrow is a paid summer internship program that immerses
exceptional young adults in Kansas City’s non-profit community. Internships in
top-rated organizations are designed to provide learning opportunities,
enabling participants to develop valuable skills that position them for future
success. In addition to networking with peers, students also receive 1-on-1
mentoring from experienced professionals and community volunteers, all
while doing meaningful work in the community.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF HOST ORGANIZATIONS?

REAL ASSIGNMENTS.
The goal of Leadership Tomorrow is to provide exposure to non-profit
organizations and real professional experience. Interns should be assigned
meaningful projects that help the organization and offer them learning opportunities.

EXPERIENCED SUPERVISORS.
Interns are not just a temporary extra pair of hands. Interns should
contribute to the organization and should have the opportunity to
learn valuable lessons from supervisors and colleagues that prepare
them for future career success.

COST TO ORGANIZATIONS.
Interns receive a $2000 stipend, of which $500 is contributed by the
host organization. The remainder is contributed by generous donors
to the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City.
