LION OF JUDAH

Lion of Judah was started over 50 years ago in Miami by a group of dedicated women to raise funds to help Jews fleeing the Soviet Union. Over half a century of giving later, more than a billion dollars have been raised by Jewish households through Lion of Judah to aid Jews wherever they are across the world. 

Your gift has meaning. The $5,000 gift you give to Federation’s Annual Campaign plays a vital role in fulfilling our mission of sustaining and enhancing Jewish life at home and around the world. As a Lion of Judah, you demonstrate the power of a community united to provide for the common good.

 

The 2022 International Lion of Judah Conference will be held on December 11-13 at the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. All Lions of Judah are invited to join in the celebration of 50 years of service to the Jewish Community.

Lion of Judah Endowment Information

Step-Up Program

The step-up program opens the community to more women and households aspiring to become Lions of Judah. With starting donations of $1,800 dollars, potential members can begin with a smaller initial contribution and a commitment to continued giving in the future. All members participating in the step-up program will immediately receive all the benefits of being a Lion of Judah. Contact Annie Glickman to learn more.

Lion of Judah’s Endowment offers those wishing to leave a lasting impression the opportunity to endow their annual gift permanently. With a donation of $100,000 in your name, you can provide ongoing support for the causes most important to you.
